Principal Award!

In late April you were chosen for a principal award! Your teacher Mrs. Bales presented it to you. She paid you a sweet compliment saying that "When ever you raise your hand you always have something very profound to add to the discussion". You were awarded for trying your best in class and always having a good attitude.

An Easter Letter

Dear Madison,
Thank you for being such a thoughtful big cousin to Paisley. A few weeks ago we received a letter in the mail from you addressed to Paisley. The back of it said, "don't open until Easter." Here are some pictures when Paisley got it in the mail.
She got to open in on Easter finally and the letter was very sweet.
You're so right that Easter isn't about the Easter Bunny or Eggs, but it in fact is about Jesus. Isn't it incredible that he would die on the cross for our sins? I too am not sure why we celebrate with eggs, candy, and a bunny, but my guess is it's a way for us to be distracted and not think about Jesus on that day. That's why this letter was so nice for Paisley to get that she will remember that Easter has a bigger and better meaning than a bunny!
